Just Kidding. Today I went to his free seminar, where they spend 2 hours trying to get you to buy their 3 day course for only $5885. But wait, if you register today, you'll get in for only $1685. Kinda reminds me of @BrandonTurner during his webinar. I know someone is going to reply and say that the Vertucci system is a scam and a waste of time, but I got a sweet smart watch, and a power bank for free, just for going. My kid is going to enjoy those. Plus they gave us a free boxed lunch. I had the ham and honey mustard on focaccia with pickles, spinach and tomatoes. It also came with a delicious chocolate chip cookie, and a bag of chips. I knew going into this free informational session that there was no way I was going to buy anything, but I'm a sucker for freebies. One thing I learned during the rundown of the agenda for the 3 day course is that in the 3 weeks I've been studying real estate investing, I've learned quite a lot. I pretty much knew everything the speaker talked about. The difference between myself and the suckers that forked over their credit cards at the end of the session is that I got almost all of my information for free right here on BiggerPockets. Once I make my first positive income from REI, I'm definitely going to upgrade to the PRO membership (with a discount code, of course), if nothing else, as a way of saying thank you to all the great ppl that work to make this site so informative.

What is a Pre-Foreclosure? On Zillow they always have Pre-Foreclosure Auction listings. Can someone please explain how this works? Thanks

I'm just getting in to the REI business. My questions are Is there a difference between a REA and a buyers agent? Should I talk to more than one agent? I have gotten suggestions from a couple different people. Is there an ethical issue in having multiple agents looking for properties for me? Thanks

I'm new to REI. I have a question about living in RI and investing in MA. Specifically, I am interested in purchasing a small multi-family in Ma. Is it more difficult to do because I live in RI? what about when I file my taxes, will I have to file MA state taxes also? I used to work in Ma, and it was a pain every year having to file Ma and RI state income taxes. I basically ended up owing in one state and getting a refund in the other, so they were essentially a wash.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello. I am interested in attending your event. I am new to the real estate game, I haven't actually purchased any investment properties yet, I' currently working on getting educated on the whole process. Do you think it would be wise for me to attend at this point? Or should I wait until I am more seasoned?

Hello, I'm new to real estate investing, and have a question about the 50% rule that was discussed in the new to real estate course.  I understand how it works, you take the monthly rent, divide it in half, subtract the mortgage payment, and what's left is your cash flow. My question is this: why do I subtract 50% from the monthly rent before I subtract the mortgage? where does that 50% go? am I missing something?
