Thank you so much. This post came right on time for me. I'm investing in the Virginia area. Is it possible for a mortgage company to grant a loan for 30k?

I'm just starting out and I figure I need 50k to start the BRRR process. My credit score is in the low 600s. I just brought a duplex. Not know much anything at all I messed up and brought my duplex with no equity left on the property. Any information would be helpful. I have found a really good property for sale by owners. It's in really good structure condition in a decent neighborhood. Are there any companies that I would be approved for a 50k startup loan?

Thank you.

@Elizabeth O. Thanks. It's exciting and a little overwhelming at first. My plan is to buy other by the end of the year. I don't know how to go about funding a commercial building. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. I still have a lot to learn about real estate investments. If I already have one mortgage loan active how hard would it be to get another loan?

New to real estate investing. Currently trying to soak up as much information as possible. My focus at the moment are multi family properties. I just purchased my first duplex March 2016. I would like to eventully close on a 20+ apartment building in the tidewater or Richmond Virgina area.
