I recently read the book Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki and was at first inspired and intrigued by his writing. As I continued to read I grew skeptical of his methods and theories due to his lack of specifics and ambiguity presented in the book. After I finished reading the book I found this article about him: https://johntreed.com/blogs/john-t-reed-s-real-est... that is basically tearing him apart and picking out all the lies and bad advice he gives in his books. I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts about him and what other real estate investing books there are to read that aren't marketing scams.

I'm currently a junior in high school and I was wondering where to start with real estate investing (Internships/books/classes)? So far I've started to read some books by Robert Kiyosaki and I've looked through articles and videos online.
