Hi, I joined BP a couple of years ago, but have not posted anything in a while!  I am a relatively new Realtor that is looking for rental property investments for myself in the Austin general area.   We have purchased one rental home in Round Rock last year,  and are looking for at least 1 or 2 more this year.  I would like to meet with other new investors in the area to get knowledge and feedback.  I am also looking for referrals for lenders that work well with investors.  

BP has a great amount of information, and I am trying to go through it as much as I can!!

I am about to invest in my first rental single family home property in San Antonio and getting cold feet!  With the oil slump in Texas and stock market ups and downs, is it a good time to purchase a rental home?  Some I have talked to recommend waiting a few months to see what happens with the economy.  Any thoughts?

I am a new Realtor from the Austin/Cedar Park, TX area.  I am interested in finding my first rental property to invest in!  I would love any guidance and input since it is all new to me!  I am currently looking at single family homes, but open to suggestions.
