Thanks for the welcome and advice John and Robert. I already found 2 other conventional lenders that don't require a 6 month hold.

Hello BP!

I started taking the important step today of getting pre-qualified. The lender has told me that in order for his company to get involved, I would have to hold the property a minimum of 6 months before I flipped it.

Being relatively new, I am wondering have a lot of you experienced this before when you were getting started? And any advice on how I should approach the situation?

Thanks for the welcome everyone!

Unfortunately I won't be able to make it to the meet up tonight, but I look forward to attending them in the future.

I look forward to chatting with you all soon.

Hey BP Community,

My name is Al, and I am new to REI investing. I am originally from NYC, but moved out to Seattle in June. I started looking into REI on the suggestion of a friend who has closed 4 wholesale deals in a few short months, and came across this site. I have already learned so much in a couple weeks, but am eager to learn as much as possible!

My short term goal is to close 5 wholesale deals by the end of the year.

Midterm goal is to generate enough wholesale deals to quit my current job.

Long term goal is financial freedom and live off of passive income.

I look forward to meeting new people and welcome any advice.
