I am a going-to-be real estate investor looking for a duplex (triplex, fourplex) in Cleveland. I found a great house on realtor.com. It is a duplex priced well. But there is note that a buyer accepts all city's violations. I got the list form the agent. There are like 50 violations, some of them are easy to do like "label the electrical panel", "clean the garbage at the garage entrance". Some like "replacing a window" require permit. Some like "replacing a joist with 4x4" sound expensive. The question is : is it possible for a contractor to get a rough estimate for fixing this just looking at this list? Any contractors here who would be insterested in helping me with this?
Hello, I am a resident of California. I am planning to buy an investment property in Texas. Can I form LLC in California and use it Texas to own a property? Or must I have a Texas based LLC. What difference will it make? Can somebody recommend a CPA who can help me with application and process of forming LLC?
