Thanks for all your replies. I am interested in buying and holding. My main goal is to build a portfolio of rental properties for long term residual income while I house hack the first property that I purchase. I have done some brief research into buying and holding, but it would be far more beneficial to learn from someone who has the experience. I would like to minimize as much beginner errors as possible as I start down this path. Abhi Golhar, I would appreciate any ideas or tips that you could recommend

Hi. My name is Albert Lee. I am current working as a chef while I pursue an education in Finance/Accounting. I have been interested in real estate for a couple years now and currently on track to buy my first property by the end of this year. I am interested in looking for a mentor in the real estate that I can learn from. Any advice/tips anybody could offer would be much appreciated.
