Hey Jeremiah,

I'm also new in my real estate journey and the DFW area. I'm looking to get started by househacking in the area. I'd love to connect and help in any way possible.

Post: New to DFW, Exploring House Hacking / Multi-Family Options Near Southlake

Hi everyone,

I’m new to the DFW area and eager to begin my real estate journey through house hacking. A little about me:

- I’m a recent college graduate, living alone, and currently have a very flexible lifestyle.

- My ideal property would be a 2–4 unit multi-family, but I know those can be scarce in this market.

- I’m also open to starting with a single-family property and renting out rooms, though it’s not my first choice.

- I work in Southlake, so I’m aiming for something within 30 minutes of there (or nearby areas).

While I don’t bring a large amount of capital to the table right now, I do bring time, flexibility, and a strong willingness to learn and put in the work. I’m looking to connect with others in the area, whether you’re just starting out like me or already have experience in DFW real estate.

If you’ve done something similar, know the neighborhoods worth targeting, or can recommend lenders/agents familiar with house hacking, I’d love to hear your insights. And if anyone local is open to connecting or even grabbing coffee, I’d be more than happy to learn from your experience.

Thanks in advance for any advice or connections!

Hey everyone, my name is Alex and I am based in Fort Worth. I recently graduated and moved to Ft. Worth to work in finance.

I am interested in real estate and plan to make it a big part of my lifelong wealth building journey. Right now, I am focused on learning as much as I can and connecting with other who have more experience than me.

I am currently interested in househacking, buy-and-hold, and multifamily properties, however I am open to any opportunity as I get started.

My goal is to purchase my first property within the next year. If you are in the DFW area, I'd love to connect and learn from your experiences.
