Hi everyone, I have historically been dealing only in 4 unit and under sized buildings. I am now ready and currently getting ready to offer on a 16 unit building near chicago. The problem is I have worked exclusively with 5/3 bank and they do not do commercial investment properties. Does anyone have any idea/experience working with good hopefully more regionally sized bank in the Chicagoland area that can work with me on commercial sized resedential investments? Thank you! Alex

Andrew Holmes So are you saying I can do a resedential fefi and quitclaim deed them into the LLC? For the commercial refi that would end up being some sort of arm or balloon loan correct?

I am thinking more long term but if I cash out refinance then they need to be in my personal name. Is this. Poor decision to not have it under my llc?

Hi everyone new to bigger pockets and hoping I can find some help. I'm a young guy just starting to invest and in my mind I have a few options but don't know what the best way to go is for long term investing. I've got a 3 unit in chicago right now that's an fha loan that has 25% equity in it today. Then I have 4 single family homes in Indiana three of which I own free and clear. I want to purchase more but don't know if I should cash out refinance the 3 SFH's or get a line of credit on them.
