Hi,

I did have a survey done a while ago, and the shed is partially on their property. I'm guessing I will have to move the shed, but they only gave me three days, which I think is unreasonable.

thanks!

Hi Everyone,

My tenant received a note that my shed is encroaching on the neighboring property. The house backs up to a former golf course in Myrtle Beach, SC, which is being converted into a new housing community. The note threatens that the shed will be removed and I will be invoiced for the removal costs if the shed is not moved by Friday. I have received no legal correspondence from the developer. I live out of state, so I am not sure what the best course of action is here. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much!

Alicia

Hi,

I live just north of Catonsville and there are quite a few rental properties in my area, including a rental townhouse community. Ellicott City, Columbia and Elkridge are much more expensive and the taxes are significantly higher. I think any of the areas could work depending on your budget and strategy.

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome!

Hi everyone,

I just joined BiggerPockets, and I am very excited to be a part of this community. I am an accountant by trade, but I started investing in real-estate in 2018. I currently have two single family rental properties. My goal is to purchases at least 4 more properties in the next 4 years. I am currently working to find financing for my next deal in Hagerstown, MD. I look forward to leaning from and growing with this community.

Thanks!

Alicia
