Post: Assigning REO's in Lovely CT

Legal or not legal would be the first questions.

Follow up question - if I set up a LLC to transfer the REO property to someone else, do I lose that LLC and have to set up a new one for the next property?

Thanks!

Hi Everyone--

Thanks so much for all your insight, it is great to hear different points of view, and experiences.

What are 50%/2% deals? I have never heard of this term.

Thanks!

Hi Everyone--

I am looking for some insight about investing in the hood aka rougher part of town, where properties are much less inexpensive - it would be nice to help contribute to these rough areas by making them look nicer and more inviting.

At the same time, there are a lot of concerning elements to contend with.

I look forward to your feedback!

Alison

Hi Everyone--

I'm new here, as well as with investing/wholesaling. I have been going through the listings in my area (CT) and there are areas that the REO homes are listed for 12-25K, but they have been on the market for a really long time with no buyers in sight.

Granted, they are not in the nicest areas, and they may have copper missing, but aren't these the very issues that rehabbers address all the time?

My question is, with prices like this, why are these homes still on the market? Any insight you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Have a great night!
Alison
