I always thought you could roll the profits from a flip into your next project to mitigate capitol gains tax. I think your only required to pay income tax on funds you pay to yourself out of the business. Not 100 percent sure though. 

I am looking into buying my first investment property. Should I set up a llc before I do anything?  This property is offered with owner financing and I would like to rent it out after purchase.  It is currently in move in ready status.
