I'm reaching out to see if anyone knows someone who can assist with real estate opportunities in New York, especially Long Island.

I'm looking for guidance or connections to professionals who can walk me through options and help with deals in that area. I’m particularly interested in finding off-market deals.

My ideal property is one where I can live in one part and rent the other—either a multi-family house or a single-family home that's convertible to multi-family use. I prefer non-HOA, turnkey houses that are ready for move-in or immediate rental.

Hey everybody!
I am new in BP, and I am looking to understand where I start with learning about REI.
I currently live in New York which it's not a good place to start investing.
i know the difference between STR,MTR,LTR.... I know that I want to focus on LER with the brrr strategy.

now my questions are:

1. where to start? what should I learn?
2. how to know where to find a B,C,D areas\neighborhoods in cities\ countries.
3. how do I know if a property is worth the checking\ buying?
4. how do you estimate a repair? are you guessing a number? and how do you know the ARV (after repair value) is?

those I think the basic of my questions.
