Hello,
Situation:
There is a judgment for Child support against the buyer that shows up in the preliminary check done by the title company. This was issued in 2016 and has been paid in full but the judgements is still showing as unsatisfied. They want the ex to sign a satisfaction of judgement, but they can not get ahold of her to sign. They are saying that the absolutely need it even though there is proof of payment as well as proof that the child support order has ended and there is no support order in place.
(This is in Oregon by the way)
Does anyone know if there is a work around to this? There has to be another way. Anyone have experience with something like this?
