Thank you all for your insight. I've decided NOT to get my license - for now, that seems like the best move for my situation. 

This is to everyone who has replied up to this point. I am reading all of these responses and I absolutely appreciate the feedback and the time you all have taken to share your knowledge and experience. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I understand it is not required to have a real estate license in order to be a real estate investor, but I am wondering how many folks do have their license and whether they find it beneficial. Thank you! My husband and I are new to the real estate investment world and have seen it recommended but I want to see if it worth the time and money beforehand.
