@Chad Carrodus I actually live in Woodstock and hadn't thought about it, but I'll definitely look into it. Have you worked with successful BRRRRs in the area?

Thanks for the warm welcome @Brenden Mitchum!
It's good to know I'm not too late.
The uncertainty of the market now definitely makes things more risky so the goal is to keep my rehab max 6 weeks, if the market crashes the plan is to have more cash in hand to take advantage.
I'll certainly be back with any questions I may have.

👋🏽 everyone!
I'm Amber, a rookie investor residing in the Atlanta area. I started my journey last year with a partner by purchasing a short term rental in North Georgia.
I purchased my primary residence in 2016 and now plan to use my newly acquired HELOC to BRRRR my first of many properties!
I've been looking in Decatur 30032/0 and East Point 30344. But it seems I'm way late. Any of you have success stories in the area? Any of you currently working on a BRRRR in Atlanta?
Looking for inspiration, location ideas, contractors and friends with common interests.
Hope to talk to you all soon!

@Kenneth Garrett love that it doesn't impact your personal DTI. With owning the property in an LLC. Will the bank be expecting tax returns and documentation from your LLC?

I plan to use it to purchase an investment property so I'm not sure of the exact amount I'll need or when exactly I'll need What would be the pros for a cashout?

I would like to refinance my home and get a HELOC with the equity. I've gotten the numbers on one offer, and would like to explore others.
