Hello ,

We are a couple in early 30s. We have just moved to Washington state and have no idea where to buy  our first home.

looking for  atleast 3bed 3 bath with a backyard ,  budget = max 1mil.

We know seattle, bellevue, redmond are out of our budget. Would love some advice on upcoming nearby cities that make sense to buy now considering light rail is expanding?

Thanks @sandeep S. your idea could work espc. since I want to take 15 year fixed.

I have literally no idea about hayward.

Is a 4 bed 3 bath even possible under 850k budget? (This is the entire budget, not down payment lol =)

How easy is it to find renters?

A new constructions you can recommend?

I am 29 year old , single, tech worker with office in the city.

with a budget of 850k , I am looking for a 2 bed 2 bath minimum

My options are:

Hunter's point

Dublin

Hayward

Fremont

Milipitas

Dublin and Hunter's point reduce the commute time compared to others.

I would love to be in Hunter's point but there is this radiation rumor which seems serious. Heard all banks offering mortgages are backing out.

Dublin gives more sq feet for the money , i even see 3 bed 3 bath for 850k new construction.

wondering what would be a good investment for the next 5 years. Also considering rental market where I live in 1 room and rent the other out.
