@Spencer Gray love the way you breakdown the digital platform for syndicator! I am just getting prepared and learn as much as I can from experienced syndicators, so I can hit the ground running and feels like investing time upfront to "build" these platforms (specially content and your storyboard to attract and nurture investors) pays off big time, as once you start doing deals will be hard to find time to build such system.... not that once it is built you don't spend time on it anymore - you always have things to fine tune on your business processes, but if your launchpad is solid, it propels you way faster/further... does it makes sense ?

@Paul H. That is simply phenomenal ! Thank you so much for your generosity on sharing detailed insights about your experience and your recommendations in this forum, enriching the concept of "community" at BP. Wish you all the very best on your endeavors. I'm getting prep to jump into multifamily syndication, based out of Frisco (north of Dallas) - if you ever need anything from the area, please let me know.

Not really at this moment.

With our Website (being redesigned) and the Syndication Pro investors portal we find that the investor funnel and approval process is fairly well automated and positively controlled.  We do use automation with Calendly and Zoom here to have people book a call with us if they came to us through organic internet traffic.

Currently we use ProCore for all our Construction Management and Asana for the project management when we are doing the planning submittals to the cities for our larger projects.  They do have appstores and integrations you would expect of the larger companies.

For the backend automation/workflows between software.... the only thing I could see us doing better is when offering documents get signed, pulling them from Docusign or Synpro and having them be copied over to DropBox or uploaded to the investors profile in SynPro.

Phenomenal insights her Paul ! Last question: what platform/SW you use to build your website ? And where do you host it ? (Local Server, GoDaddy, AWS, Azure)

When I first started managing investor relationships, I went from Excel to Contact Contact to Aweber to Keap.

Thanks Brain ! It is the first time I hear about Keap and Aweber... will definitely take a look at them... super appreciate you taking the time to post your thoughts here. (By the way, phenomenal accomplishment..) I dream the day I syndicate a 1,000 doors deal ;-)

@Anderson Bigate Nogueira, we use Active Campaign for their CRM and email automations plus Syndication Pro as an investor portal.  They are synced with Zapier.  We looked at other solutions, too, which I'm sure work well depending on what's important to you and how user friendly each is.  Good luck.  It is more than a weekend project!

Thank you so much Stony ! You are the third person I talk about this recommending SyndicationPRO ... seems it is a champion... I will definitely look at "active Campaign" ... thanks again for sharing your insights !

@Paul H. thank you SO MUCH for your insights above, very useful. I agree on the "one software does all" will leave holes and tend to be very rigid... question: are you using any "integration" or "workflow" software that automates your business processes in-between Apps ?

Hello BP Family !! What is your recommendation for software that automates the whole cycle for multifamily apartment syndication, from capturing and qualifying an accredited investor to communicating with investors during the hold period. Doesn't have to be ONE  software that does everything end-to-end, it can be a software that "glue" one app to another and automate that (business) process. Example: using an app to capture business cards and drop contact on your "leads database", then trigger a "welcome email" thru mailchimp app, then connect that "lead" on a dripping campaign where emails with educational content are sent thru a "content platform", and so and so. Sharing your experience would be super appreciated - thank you !

Hi Annie, I like to learn from people that are really doing deals and have an education channel, some of them are: Michael Blank, the guys from Invictus Capital, and for raising capital Hunter Thompson podcast is great, called Cash Flow Connections. If you are looking for a coach/mentor, take a look at what Brad Sumrok offers... I find it phenomenal.

Thanks Greg ! It is listed in the MLS, and if county has access to it, so it seems certain taxes will go up considerably ... even if there is a cap% for increase, they probably will play catch-up going to max% increase until get's close to the market value/transacted amount... makes sense ?
