Unless you are good with SEO I'd recommend just paying the fees on air bnb. Your personal website will get lost in a sea of a million other websites if not SEO optimized. The time spent trying to generate attention to your site would probably be worth just spending the money to air bnb to avoid the headache but that's just my two cents.

I'm a rental agent in Boston. Tons of competition here and I have a lot of success finding leads via Zillow, apartments.com, and Facebook marketplace. Zillow is typically the best quality leads in my opinion. Facebook brings in a lot of volume but you usually need to weed out a lot of people that aren't serious. Apartments.com leads are usually pretty good as well but I don't get as many leads there as I do the other two websites.

Hi,

Does anyone know of any wholesaling friendly attorneys in or around Boston? I'm looking to set up a meeting to get some help with creating a contract.

Thank you in advance!

@Maxwell Ventura Hey man! I'm actually moving back to Boston but I appreciate it!

@Donald Dooley Hey Donald! That sounds great. I'll send you a message to figure out a time to talk.

@Brandi Sharp Hey Brandi!

No way! My girlfriend is from Temecula. She's making the move with me. I'll be on the south shore a lot so I'd be happy to meet up. I'm sure we'll bump into each other at some networking events too.

@Lien Vuong Hi! Thanks for the suggestion. I'll be sure to check them out. I realized my question was worded wrongly. I meant to ask if it is realistic to be able to work on some deals as an agent and also work as a wholesaler on other deals. Not work as an agent and wholesaler on the same deals.

If possible, I'd like to work as a rental agent while also focusing on finding off market deals where I could either wholesale or list the property depending on the clients needs. Have you ever heard of anyone doing this?

Also, does anyone know of any wholesaling friendly attorneys in the Boston area?

Hey everyone! I am moving to Boston from San Diego next month with the goal of learning how to make real estate investing a legitimate career for myself. I grew up on the south shore and then moved to the west coast after college for a few years. After working a cubicle sales job and reading Rich Dad Poor Dad (very original story, I know), I decided that I needed to make the move back home and start working for myself.

I have my real estate license and am going to be working rental deals in Boston to start and then move into residential sales (primarily working with investors). My goal is to meet as many investors as possible this year via meetups. Does anyone have any good recommendations for meetups? I'm open to all recommendations! Thanks in advance.

The other question I had is whether or not it is possible to work as an agent and a wholesaler at the same time. I don't want to spread myself too thin and I'd rather commit to one or the other but I was curious if there is anyone that does this in the Boston area?

Any advice is greatly appreciated!
