Ned Carey thank you so much for clearing up my questions. I obviously have more learning to do. BP has been an incredible resource. Thank you all.

Hi  @Jarred DeArmas thank you for the quick response. That makes complete sense. I just need to jump in with both feet and not test water. Now I'm learning how to purchase online. Which websites to use, etc. Have you actually purchased a tax lien yourself? Thank you again I appreciate it. Good luck to you.

Good morning, I'm new to real estate investing and BP. Currently I've been reading, listening, and learning. My path has lead me to tax liens. I had a few questions I was hoping someone may have the answers to. 1. Are tax liens bought by auction only? For example if the back taxes are $2500 what's the opening bid? 2. How long could you hold a tax lien certificate for before the tax lien holder receives the property? I'd like to do this online and would love to chat with anyone who is already doing it or just starting out like me. I'm at the point where I have to say enough is enough, stop procrastinating and start doing. I appreciate everyone reading this. I know your time is precious.

Good afternoon all,

I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Andrew and I'm from southern New England. I'm an architect and contractor by trade. I've always had a hankering for real estate. For one reason or another I haven't made the jump to real estate investing. Now is the time. I've been reading and learning for the past year as to the different types of REI. Many are appealing, but a passive income is the most. I would love to connect with you and discuss the ins and outs of REI.

Thank you all for reading my long post.

Andrew
