Hi Eric - to start, something simple :) as it will be my first flip. Really just want to find a simple 3-4 bed that I can purchase, repair, rent for a few years, then put back on the market.

Once that's done I'd like to get a deal on a purchase, then buy and hold for the long-term.

I won't be able to make tomorrow night but I should be at meetups starting in roughly May/June time period. Happy to connect with anyone in SA over the weekend though.

Thanks!

Hi all -

Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm moving to San Antonio later this year and interested in getting on the buyer list for San Antonio wholesalers. Would also love to talk to people about some rehabs they've done for learning experience.

Will be attending real estate investment meetups in SA but wanted to post here in case anyone was on BiggerPockets. Please comment here or message me if you'd like to meet.

Thanks! Look forward to meeting you all,

Andy

Hi guys --

New to BP so could be newb questions:

1. Do these calculators take depreciation and your marginal tax rate into account?

2. Are the full calculators only available to pro users?

3. Do your calculators show CAGR of your cash over a 30-year period? (Is this the same as cash on cash return?)

Just basically trying to understand what the full CAGR of my cash invested would be for residential properties.

Thanks!

Hi guys!

I'm a newbie from Austin TX. Actually just relocating to Austin from California and really excited to get going on some property investing there.

About me: I am 25, worked at Google for about three years and am moving to Austin to take a role with another tech company there. I'm looking to get into residential property investing and preferably look at the Austin and San Antonio areas.

Hopefully if I can a steady income I can build a portfolio of residential properties over time. That would be awesome :)

Anyway, look forward to networking with you all and finding some good deals!

Why don't these brokers/realtors advertise their properties on national sites like Zillow or Trulia to get more exposure?

Do you focus at all on HUD homes, foreclosures, etc?

Hi guys --

Wanted to add to this thread. Has anyone solved this problem yet -- having the most comprehensive inventory available?

I'm trying to find residential property to invest in but checking multiple sites for property has been an absolute nightmare.

Is there anything out there, other than loopnet, for people trying to find residential property to invest in?
