HI Kim.  Sorry to hear about that experience so far with Shawn and his program.   What state were the files you sent him?   I have worked in the Overage business in the past.  I am just getting it back up and going.  I want to see if I can help you with the work you put in.

No promises of course, and I am a bit rusty, but hit me back here.

Hi Tiffany.  TLOxp you will need a license of some kind for sure.  They have one of the tougher credentialing processes out there, but they have excellent data that goes deep with relatives, neighbors, associates, etc..  I would say to at least go ahead and get a business license with your city/town.  It is cheap.  Get yourself a tax ID at irs.gov (free).  Open a bank account.  Now you will have some roots planted for less than $50.  You have to start somewhere.   Most of the good skip trace sites want you to have a "permissible purpose" for you to access their databases.  But these sites do have levels of access for different purposes.  You will need to simply "try and see" (I like to call it)    Try the service, see if you like it, apply for membership.  Worse they can say is no, but you hopefully will find out what you need to do to get accepted whey you re-apply.

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to host a Zoom on Wednesday, April 15th at 7:30 est. to answer some or all questions you have about the Excess Proceeds-Overages business.  I have got messages from many people over the last 2 years, and I have done a pretty bad job answering them all.  I hope to connect with a lot of you this week.

I don't know if there is a rule in the BP forums about inviting people to a Zoom meeting.  I am not selling anything so I hope this stays    I have never hosted a call like this.  This is a learning experience...like the Overages business.

I have been in this business on and off for about 5 years now with some success.  I have not done it full time ever, but I have learned a few things along the way, and I am interested in answering questions and learning from any of you and some of your experiences.

I am not selling anything nor do I have anything to sell.   I want to learn by teaching.  I hope you all have some experience in the business we can all learn from.

My Overage business is not my primary business.  My main business is shut down so I wanted to get my Overage business cranked up.

You can message me your email address and I can send you an invite I guess.

Andrew

Hi Michael.  Thanks for reaching out.  I want to host a webinar this week (Wednesday, April 15) so that we can network and I can answer as many questions as possible about the Excess Proceeds/Overages business.   I want people to submit some questions prior too, but it will be an interactive live webinar.  Would you be interested?

The first paragraph of my post was cut off for some reason.  Maybe I am not permitted to share my resume or explain what we do with real estate???  I feel my post looks selfish as it stands...but here it is again.

Hi All,

"I have been helping people and business collecting excess proceeds on tax sales for about 3 years now. I have about 30 successful recoveries from $2,000.00 to $60K. I have about 30 cases in the works now. All tax overages. I would be willing to share some info with some of you. "

I am in search of mortgage overages or excess proceeds from mortgage foreclosure sales. I understand there aren't "Lists" per se like there are for the tax sales. We have to create the list on our own. In order to do that, you need to know the entire foreclosure process. I would like to learn. I have not seen anything in any forum regarding excess proceeds from mortgage sales.

I bought the Bob Diamond and Shawn Buige programs. I worked the "Hooked on Overages" program and learned a lot and made a lot of mistakes. Buige program is mostly a researcher program. I honestly have not gone through it fully yet.

I look forward to sharing some info and gaining some info on the excess proceeds from mortgage foreclosures

Andy
