@Cassidy Burns Awesome - thank you for sharing!

Hi Joseph,

Thank you SO much for the referral.  I just checked the Advanced School of Real Estate's website and they are now offering Zoom virtual classes only due to Covid.  I'm impressed with their setup, demo Zoom video, schedules, and experience.  I'm leaning towards signing up for a class later on this month.  Again, thank you so much!

Happy New Year!

Drew

Hey Andrew,

I just got my license in VA and I used Advanced School of Real Estate. It's an online self-paced course that's mostly reading but there's some videos to watch too. There's a 60 (might have been 50, can't remember exactly) hour timer that counts down to make sure you put in the required hours. Then you take a written test at home with a proctor. Once you pass that you can schedule the state exams. It's not zoom so maybe not quite what you're looking for but it worked for me. Good luck.

I am interested in pre-licensing course recommendations in Virginia that are offering virtual (zoom type) classes? I've previously tried a course offered by CE Shop but didn't like the online slide format (extremely slow).  Ideally I'd like an in-person course but due to Covid restrictions that's not possible right now.  Long & Foster is offering the 60-hr course virtual classes (Zoom) but would like to consider other options.

If anyone has had a recent a good online course experience (other than CE Shop), please let me know!

Appreciate any advice! Thanks so much.

Wow Ryan!  Very impressive and a huge congratulations!  I could tell that you've put a lot of time and thought into our property and love your dedication and energy.  I'm new to real estate investing and finally made a decision to join this inspiring Biggerpockets community, learn as much as I can, network locally and in other markets and make my 1st first investment this year.  Congratulations.
