Soon to be agent here.

I am new to my city, Chattanooga, and have been putting networking and relationship building at the top of my priorities. One thing I have found incredibly valuable for me so far is searching for in person meetups in my city using Facebook and Meetup. There are a ton of different groups that meet regularly that I have been attending to expand my sphere. I am sure in LA there are tons of group meets to attend.

Hey Tim! I also am new to BP and am nearing the end of my course, soon to be licensed.  This is something I have been thinking about a lot lately, and here is where I am at..

I also want strong training to start, ideally in person with a group.  I have been told many times that Keller Williams has some of the best training out there for new agents.  While I am not too fond of the idea of just being another agent on the wall within a massive brokerage, I think it may be the best for me for a year or two.  I know their commission split is a bit less favorable than other brokerages, but personally I am willing to invest a bit extra for the training.

When looking for a brokerage, I believe it is important to remember that we are interviewing the brokerage, not the other way around.

Just now learning about this issue and it really baffles me.  If police have the time to set up speed traps and arrest people for possession of marijuana, they should certainly have the time to take care of real issues such as this.

I recently left the PNW. I really love Eugene and all of Oregon, it's truly some of the best land in the country. Nothing compares to it in beauty, in my opinion.

I just hope the wildfires ease up. It got to be too much for me, spending three months of the year breathing smoke and not seeing the sun. And it got up to 120 degrees there in 2020.

I've been a listening for quite a while and am here to start exploring more resources in the BP ecosystem as I take my journey in real estate to the next level.

Last year I travelled the country in a self-built tiny home to find my next home after leaving the pacific northwest due to wildfires and drought.  I have determined that Chattanooga, TN is one of the best places in the country that is still relatively affordable for first time home buyers.  So here I am, in Chattanooga, jumping into real estate and looking to purchase my first home!  I will be licensed in the state within the next two months and look forward to the journey!

I am open to all advice and suggestions, and look forward to exploring this forum.  And if you live in Chattanooga, or have any questions about the city, feel free to reach out!
