Post: Cost / sqft for a 4-plex in Salt Lake City?

Hi All - can anyone give me a ballpark for cost/sqft on new builds in Salt Lake City? Looking to build a ~4,000 sqft 4-plex with higher-end finishes, 2bd 2ba. I'm guessing $200/sqft, but would love some input from people out there actually making it happen.

Thanks!

Hi Kyle,

It sounds like I'm where you were last year. Curious to hear how things are working out for you. Did you end up finding a deal? Even if you didn't, I'd love to know what neighborhoods you were looking at. I'm in SLC and don't venture up to Ogden that much so I'm not familiar with the good areas, the bad areas, or the gradients between them.

@William Hochstedler, I keep hearing about Ogden's rosy future. I could take a stab at guessing what a few contributors to that forecast are. What's your take if you don't mind sharing?

Thanks!
