Yes, Lynn. We are very lucky in Texas, as it is just a matter of change of the ownership structure and is not subject to anybody's approval.

@Andrey Derevianko does the same hold true for the apartments to condo? Is there anything you have to do with the city or is it all through the lawyer?

Hi Paul,

I have done condo conversions before and in the process of doing one now. It is in Austin, TX and it is 31 units conversion. Keep in mind that every state laws are different, so I can share my experience, as a general process would be the same, but you will have to get a good local lawyer to do all documentation anyway.

Andrey.

Therese,

all Fannie Mae foreclosed properties are sold through Homepath website - "HomePath.com is the Official foreclosure website owned by Fannie Mae" (the same as Freddie Mac is using Homesteps - "HomeSteps.com is the official REO home search of Freddie Mac"). You do not have to use Homepath renovation financing, you can go with your own. I made multiple offers there, never got one accepted. So just go to the website and they have a lot of FAQ and tutorials there.
