What is reasonably expected if a traveling contractor leaves one of our apartments/houses earlier than expected? Do we refund that money per diem? Is it not our issue if their contract with a company ended earlier than they thought? We always want to do the right thing, but if they've booked the property that means we might have missed out on another renter wanting those days they've now canceled? Thanks for the advice.......

We have several properties that we normally list on VRBO. However, we cater to lots of out of town contractors and visiting nurses that stay longer than a normal vacation destination VRBO user might. My question is how do you all market and book an apartment if not on VRBO? And if you take the booking yourself and not use VRBO, do you make the person sign some type of agreement or lease? Thanks!
