Hi all,

I am currently in a partnership with 2 other friends and we are looking into investing in a LTR together. We are interested in the Texas market. On another post, several BP colleagues recommended getting pre-qualified first. SInce there are 3 of us investing together, how would we go about doing this? Would all 3 of us have to get pre-qualified? I own a home and have a W2, second person has a W2 and does not own a home, third person is self employed and does not own a home. We were also considering using Tribevest. Has anyone had experience using this service and would you recommend? Thanks BP community!

Hello, a couple of friends and I are looking to invest in our first rental property in Texas. We are currently living in California. We are debating between Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio, but also open to other cities in Texas.

This is our criteria:

3 bedroom

At least 1.5 bath

Single family home in livable/rentable condition.

budget: 200k.

Open to seller financing and conventional loan

Open to suggestions on cities and neighborhoods. Your input is greatly appreciated. Thank you BP community!

Hi everyone!

I'm considering buying my first rental property in Lubbock, Texas as a mid or long term rental.  I did some research and saw that there is a lot of economic growth and the housing market seems reasonable for my budget.  I wanted to see what other's experience has been.  Thanks!

Hello everyone! I’m new to the community and new to the idea of real estate investing (1 month in!) so I’m super excited to be here!

1.) I currently live in the San Francisco Bay Area and am hoping to invest out of state. I still need to narrow down which city but am interested in Florida or Tennessee.

2.) My goals in joining BiggerPockets is to buy my first rental property by February 2023 and meet some awesome people along the way!

3.) Before I became a nurse, I worked at Hot Dog on a Stick and Coldstone Creamery!

Hello! I'm new to Bigger Pockets and am just exploring the website and came across your post.  I am also a nurse and can totally sympathize with how you feel!! Good luck to you!
