Hi, I'm very new here! I understand there are experts that may be able to help me. Next year, we will be selling our rental unit in another state. My husband and I are on that deed. My sister and I are investors together. My thought was that my husband and I would create an LLC for our sale and my sister would create an LLC for her sale of her property and we would establish an LLC for both of these LLCs. Both of us would be selling using 1031 and there may even be a 1031 property she and I own together, so a total of 3 units. I think this would work. Now, my question is if we can buy land with one of our LLC's and then build using the others 1031, would this work or having two separate transactions would make things complicated?

Thank you!!!
