thank you so much @Brett Snodgrass and @Kenneth Hynes! I will start reading that shortly, and I really do want to understand how that all works correctly. We had bought a house (personal home) and were ultimately scammed out of it becasue somone "flipped" and already condemned home and didn't fix any of it. I didn't know about public records or anything at the time, and that alone has been a great motivator for me to learn about all of this, and hopefully be able to work, and do it correctly so others can have safe and lovely homes. Family displacement when you think you've bought a great first home is a horrible thing.

Hello everyone! I just learned about this whole world a few days ago, and have not yet decided what it is I want to do. So many wonderful options, I just really want to learn!
