Does anyone have an suggestion for locations to purchase homes/condo that are inexpensive and have strong rental potential. I currently live in NJ, but before I make another purchase here, I wanted to see if there are any location that have buy and hold opportunities. (currently looking in St. Louis Missouri & Texas where I have some family).

@Jeffrey Abraham is right on with what he is saying. I handle the Central Jersey Area (Middlesex, Monmouth & Ocean Counties). Some investors are leaning on smaller units and even including some mix use options in their search as well to see if those numbers make more sense.

I sometimes have access to some solid off market inventory (has been in low supply lately) but we should definitely exchange info so I can keep you in the loop.

Also, ListReports is a great software that give some news updates and "talking points".
