Depending on your living situation and what you are approved for you can get up to a 4 family apartment building and live in one unit that way you will be living rent free and have some income from the other units

I am in the process of getting into a seller financing land contract with a property that a owner does not want, I have a contract that I am presenting to the owner. My question is what’s next. Does the house get put in my name is there a closing process or is nothing done until the loan is paid of help me out my first time going this route.

@Chris Heeren do you pay cash for your homes or do you have mortgages, I’m glad I saw these post because I have two 30k homes and wanted to buy more but as previously said I didn’t think I would be able to get to leverage the equity out of it.

Hello everyone one I am looking for some guidance. I manage my parents home as a rental since they moved out of state. I am trying to figure out the best way to leverage the equity on their home they would sell this home at any time I choose I basically make all decisions on this house.
My thought is, how could I leverage the equity from this home what would be the best plan of action. Should I purchase the home from them. I want to take the equity and purchase a package of rental properties.
What are your thoughts any help is appreciated
