@Brett McManus Yeah I’m coming to realization that cash flowing on a first property in Minnesota would take allot of work. However, lowering my rent/ mortgage threw “house hacking” is a possibility, and would allow for more money to be save and re invested. Thanks for sharing also!.

@Mack Benson At the moment I’m not working with any agent. I figured once I have a respectable savings, credit, and extras, I will sit down with someone. The place doesn’t have to be in the cities, surrounding areas could work depending on distance from my Job.

Could anybody help me understand what a “good deal” would be for me here in Minneapolis / St. Paul, MN. I have a couple properties I’d like to know the numbers on. I’m looking to cover most of my mortgage with cash flow, and or possibly profit if possible. At least free up my overall income. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.
