Mr. @Paul Moore thank you so much for your advice! I will certainly gain more knowledge and mentorship before proceeding!

Rookie here! So, my husband and I just moved into a 2yr old luxury apartment complex in a very nice community. Across the street is a shopping and entertainment complex. Right outside of my complex is 1-7.5 acres of commercial land lots. It's listed as retail and office outparcels. I'm thinking that this would be an excellent place for ground-up self-storage. I'm still learning here, is this something that I qualify to look into, and is this a good idea? Am I asking the right question? Haha!

Hello, My name is Ashanti Kouna. I am based in Lakeland, Florida, and am looking to invest here and in the surrounding areas. I am very new to real estate but I am very excited to get started. I have been spending a lot of time taking in as much education as I can that is provided by bigger pockets. I am currently trying to figure out what avenue I want to take, I'm thinking the BRRRR strategy. Fun fact about me - I am 1 of 19+ children (disclaimer, I do come from a very blended family but we all grew up together). I am also a mother of 2 under 2 (at least for the next 7 days) my oldest is 1 1/2 and my youngest just turned 5 months today! I have no idea most of the time what I am doing as a mom, and I am not always the best sister and daughter - but what I do know is that I will be the first of all of my siblings to generate passive income, and create generational wealth for my beautiful girls.
