I would like to buy a home in the near future. I would be a first time home buyer and would like to purchase said home using an FHA loan. However I would like to house hack if I can. Ideally I would like to purchase a duplex where I live in one unit and rent the other out. Can you purchase an FHA loan if "half" the property would be a rental?
