I am selling a house in Riverside, CA. The home was a 2/2 and now is a 3/2, we added a bedroom in the second dining room. No square footage added. Escrow fell through because of no permits on the added wall for the new bedroom. Should I try to get a permit or you think it’s a fluke? Everything was done to code and is beautiful. If there is no way around it I want to get the ball rolling on a permit ASAP. If not a big deal I’d like to re-list and move forward. Big brains of BP help a fairly new lady out! Thanks!

@Sean Durham yes downtown is definitely going through a revival! The city needed more attractive options for nightlife and restaurants. We have small children so we are in the suburban areas. Orangecrest/ canyon Crest/ mission Grove areas are where we have been looking. Families love these areas! Have you ever gone to an auction? Garrett (hubs) and I want to check that out as an option for a deal in the future.
