Thanks again for your feedback, I also do not trust specially a salesman when telling me verbally with out any written proof, that’s why I still approach big pockets to get some professional advice.

Thanks again

Thanks Patty Robertson and Dave Foster.

I am 63 years old and I like to have primary house paid off before I retire, I have a rental property  currently on the market for 1.6M with 5.25 loan, and my current primary house value 7.5K with 3.5K loans, To save property gain tax, I like to purchase a paid off bigger house, and sell my primary house to payoff my kids student loan around 300k,

I asked a  Realestate  he suggest me to buy and advertise  for rent but  do not rent for two months  and later move in yourself

Appreciate your advice

I have a rental property with sufficient property gain about 1M, my wife like a bigger house, and I like a paid off, currently our primary house is not big enough, can I buy a house with 1031 property gain, leave vacant for couple months and then move in And then sell our current primary house to paid off kids school loan.
