@Andrew Ware - Thanks for your very detailed and informative response. We did measure the speed of my VA's internet and it checked out fine. We actually just figured that the problem that prevented her from making calls to the U.S. was her IP address. After a few calls made, GV detected that the activity was coming from overseas, so the connection was blocked. She just had to download an app on her end to alter her IP address and it started working again.
@Roger Rustad - I get mine from Upwork.com and have been pretty satisfied with the work so far. I'm paying mine $6.25 per hour (proposed at $7.50 but negotiated down). But she came with a lot of relevant work experience and seems to be getting it, which saves me a lot of time. How has your experience been with Peopleperhour?

Hello,
I've recently hired a VA to help automate certain aspects of my business to include lead screening. I use Vumber with various phone numbers for our normal business, but I set up a Google Voice account for my VA to be able to make calls from the Philippines to the U.S. This worked a few times then we started having issues connecting. Does anyone have any suggestions or do business the same way but using a different platform? Any advice is appreciated.
Awesome. Thank you so much for everyone's input!
Hello. I'm looking to automate certain aspects of my wholesaling business. I've familiarized myself with the options I have as far as hiring a virtual assistant, but am unsure of the exact tasks to train them on and what the expectations should be. I just want to optimize their role in my business while staying cost efficient. Any advice is appreciated.
