Post: Investor in Wyoming

Hello,

My name is Brock, I'm new to real estate investing located in Cheyenne WY.

I've recently purchased a new home and converted my old home to a rental. Currently I'm saving up for a down payment on the next purchase.

Cheyenne has high home prices, it can be difficult to meet the 1% rule.

There is a trailer park with 22 units for sale ($249k) in a nearby town that is tempting, but the down payment would take some time to save up.

It's great to be on here, I love the podcast.

Post: How long must I live in my rental?

Greetings from WY

I am just starting out in rei. I'm considering living in my next property to avoid a large down payment. Question is, how long would I have to live in the house until I can move out and rent it? Conventional loan. Maybe it varies lender to lender?

Thanks,

Brock
