Thank you all for the responses. All great suggestions. I'll try Dani's option 2 and the solar powered lights that Charles recommended. I'll get back to you all on how it goes!

Hello all, I am seeking advice on a tenant request. My tenant requested me to install a motion sensing light in the driveway as they have indicated that it is very dark and they feel unsafe at night. I need to do an assessment with my contractor to determine costs before progressing (on that note, does anyone have any sense how much this costs?). Setting that aside, is there any significant liability/legal risk if I choose not to install this light? There is nothing stipulated in the tenant's lease that this is a landlord's responsibility.

Thank you and I appreciate any feedback.
