Thanks for sharing the details @Jay Hinrichs.  I have really enjoyed watching the progress and following along. They have definitely been selling like hot cakes! Congrats!

@Frank Procopio are you still a fan of CREXi? I'm thinking about upgrading to pro, but they haven't given me the price yet. Apparently I need to schedule phone call with an account manager to figure that out, similar to CoStar.

I don't personally have any residential rentals in Oregon, but I have friends who do have single family rentals and haven't had any real problems.  The down side in Oregon is the rent control (just be familiar with the laws and its not that bad, yet) and the biggest issue would be the tenant friendly courts. My friends rentals aren't luxury rentals, but are in nice neighborhoods and they screen their tenants well and don't have issues.  Many of their tenants are long term.

I’m curious. Other than a savings account at a bank, what are your preferred way to store cash when waiting to deploy in a real estate opportunity, and why?

@Jay Hinrichs yes, it is crazy the growth Aurora is seeing since the tower. I love it and I enjoy flying there more now that they have the tower.

You are correct, I would like a larger hangar but I’m just not sure it is the best cash flow investment. I wouldn’t mind one of those large ones in the south end airpark so I could lease for multiple planes, then squeeze my future singe engine piston in there.

I’ve also thought about building T-hangars at Mulino, reading their master plan, it looks like they have defend demand and are full now.

Hey @Eric Healy, I just came across this post and I'm curious if you ended up buying the hangar and how the numbers worked out for you. I've been considering the same for investment options.

@Jonathan Klemm it sure can be!

@Jay Hinrichs it sounds like you had a great run at it. I 100% agree, it is the best and what a great tool for business too! Well, if you’re ever itching to fly, I’d be happy to take you up in the 172!

My hobbies are flying (I can never get enough of it) and working on my little farm, when I have time.

@Jay Hinrichs I see you put retired next to flying, do you not fly at all anymore. If I recall correctly, you had a Cirrus, did you sell it? I currently fly a 172, but looking to step up to a Cirrus or Bonanza in the near future.
