Wai,

I use this policy myself. I signed up for a $34,500 whole life policy Dec. of 2013; right now my policy is worth $76k, but that includes a $25k term policy built into it until cash value is vested. I had a house emergency last June and needed $4.5k to pay for it. I call my agent and he sent me a check. I am paying it back at $85.00 a mo. for forty months. This is a great policy and it is not a scam. The agent only gets 1.5% of the first year and every year after that is free. I can borrow the cash value I have paid in at any time. The compound interest is fantastic as you can tell by my policy worth. I had all kinds of people telling me not to do it but I did. Best move I ever made and have utilized its benefits. It is slow the first year but six months into the second yearit pulled my butt out the fire. Most agents don't understand the paid up rider policy, but that's why you need an agent who does. Talk to one of their agents; it sells itself.

Good luck,
