I will have to look into the REIA group in reading. I'll keep in touch, hopefully I can start adding information on the forum to help others.

It's only a matter of time before I purchase my first rental property. I'm thinking that I will be financially able to purchase my first property around June of 2014. As an accounting major, I only want to invest in the properties for the long term. Besides location and the value of the area. What are the costs involved with the purchase of a home? I know I will incur costs from an appraiser, inspector and realtor. What are some other costs that are a part of renting? I know there's homeowners insurance, but what about some of the other costs involved that I'm missing. Any information will help, this is my first question. Thank you for your time.
