Thanks

@Nathan G. I've stayed in Airbnb's all across the country. Both big and small cities, beach towns, mountain towns. Most legal, a few not. Never had a bad experience. Would choose an Airbnb over a hotel any day. Have since converted my traditional rentals to STR's.

@Chauncy Gray I just converted 1 traditional rentals to STR. In both cases I bought mostly used furniture in good condition. A 1200 sq ft 3/2 home I spent $5500 total that includes new dinnerware, cookware etc. other home is a bit smaller but same and spent about $4000

@Gerrett Houston I have used hard money when I first started. It was a 12 month interest only loan at 15% plus 3 points. I paid for the rehab with my cash. Sold the house within 120 days and profited $40,000. Was the hard money loan expensive maybe but look at the upside. Hard money has its place but know what you are getting into upfront. Make sure you have enough for the rehab maybe double what you have estimated. I now will use a private lender in some cases. Good Luck!
