Andrea Hewitt, I like what you said about how to buy out of state. Did you need to set up a LLC, bank account, ect. in Tx, or are you able to keep all that in your home state?

Sorry that was Townhouses, yes or no?  Darn autocorrect. I'm still in the education stage of my real estate investing life. Aren't townhouses the same as single family houses?  In that if the tenets move out you are stuck paying the whole bill?  Any help is greatly appreciated.  Thanks

In trying to get my first property. It is our of my daughters school district. If the mortgage company (VA) says I have to house hack, so I really have to? Can't U just leave one of the 4 apartments empty, change my mailing address, and then stay where I live now?
