Welcome to Bigger Pockets. I joined about a week or so ago. I live in Chandler and just starting to read about real estate investing

As was mentioned, I will be attending my first REIA meeting in Phoenix probably in July - cannot make the June event.

Hi Charlie - from Chandler Just joined as well - looking to do the same. So far, a great site with lots of information and great people to connect too.

Mark - probably more buy and hold of non fixers

At this point, with the limited construction skills, probably not the right person to be doing house make-overs.

Two weeks ago - I would have said the top fiction reads and what USA Today has for the "best summer books."

1) single family homes on Chandler, Phoenix area

2) vacation home rentals

Joel - Chandler is a suburb of Phoenix. That is what I need to do, explore the market and see if opportunities here. But we are not averse to buying other places either
