I found a duplex that I plan to house hack, and to get straight to the point. One side is vacant, and the other has been rented for 12 years to an elderly lady for 450 a month. It's a 2 bed 1 bath current market rent is 600-650. First time going into a house hack, and would like opinions on how to go about this situation.

Thanks

What's going on BP community,

Weird question so I'm looking at a single family house that also has a tennis court along with it. I've always heard/been told to stay clear of homes with pools for rental properties. Does a tennis court fall under that category as well or should that be fine?

Thanks

So I'm a first time home buyer, and I plan to buy a single family home to rent out. I was wondering everyone's thoughts on regular renting vs. rent to own. The pros, cons, and which you have found to have worked the best for you.
