@Logan Allec as an accountant, I assume you may know the answer to this question. Can you can take advantage of cost segregation with multi-family inside a SD Roth IRA?

Yes, I understand a Roth cannot rollover into a Solo 401k.  Also, I need to be self-employed to be eligible to open and contribute to a Solo 401k, which I am currently not.  Thank you all for your comments.  It really helps in exploring all options.

Hello Bigger Pockets. I am new to real estate investing and am consideration transitioning my Roth IRA into apartment syndications as a passive investor or possibly partnering with other and becoming more active. What advice would you have with regard to tax liabilities and using Roth IRA assets in syndications? Thank you.
