So would it just be smarter to have a long term rental rather than short?

Hi I was thinking of acquiring my first rental property and using it for airBNB and have two listings making me double the money. Do you think this is wise, or What is the best property type to make the most cash flow? I also will be purchasing and having down payment of 20% not arbitrage rentals. Im 23 and make 80k/year So any advice for a newbie would be greatly appreciated!
