@Josh Stanley The move went good. I haven’t started investing here yet, Im still getting adjusted to living here and learning the areas. I got my home inspection license and Imworking for a home inspection company. It’s been helping me meet different Realtors and it’s helping learn the areas.

Thank you for the information. The Springfield area is what I was mostly seeing. Im not too familiar with the downtown area. I lived in Riverside for a few months in 2007 but ended up moving due to the crime at that time.

Hello everyone, I am moving to the Jacksonville Florida area in the next couple of months. I have been watching the housing market for awhile now. I noticed there are alot of flip opportunities around the downtown Jax area that stay on the market for awhile. Is there anyone that has any experience or knowledge of the flipping market in the area. I noticed some of the flip opportunities have been started but not finished. What are the obstacles and struggles that flippers face in the area? I have alot of experience in construction and am planning on flipping in the area. I would appreciate any advice and would like to connect with people in the area.

Hello!
I am new on BiggerPockets and I am looking to connect with people currently in the Jacksonville Fl market. I am currently living in New Mexico as a Deputy Sheriff. I plan on moving to Jacksonville with my family in May of this year. I don’t plan on working law enforcement in Florida, but would like to start flipping houses and start purchasing rental properties. I would like to find an investor friendly real estate agent, and get started from there. Any information or advice about the market in the Jacksonville area will be really helpful.
